BRYAN H. KIM

Bryan H. Kim is the senior and founding pastor of EKKO Church, a faith community that began in 2008 in Orange County, CA. 

Pastor Bryan’s ministry reflects a commitment to spiritual formation, creative theological imagination, and prophetic clarity that invites the Church to live faithfully within God’s unfolding story. Through teaching, mentorship, and artistic expression, Pastor Bryan helps people locate their lives within the redemptive arc of Scripture and confront dominant scripts of the empire: individualism, consumerism, and despair. He emboldens the Church to embody a faithful alternative as a community shaped by the rule of God and animated by the power of Christ’s Resurrection.

He holds a B.A. from the University of California, Irvine, an M.B.A. from Regent University, and a Doctor of Ministry in Spiritual Formation and Leadership from Portland Seminary.

Through preaching, mentoring, and communal rhythms at EKKO, he continues to nurture a people who bear witness to the beauty and justice of God’s kingdom and who are centered on the in-breaking Kingdom of God made visible on earth. 

Bryan is devoted to Michelle, his partner in ministry, life and adventure.
