A sacred call, a quiet hymn a song without words, where I end and where you begin
Your words, God’s whispers God’s breath
a quiet hum a song without lyrics yet I can make out every word
You God’s whisper God’s face All my symphonies are completed in you
And it's here I am in tune harmony with Creation's biophonY
For only then, CAN I RETURN TO the song I’ve been dying to sing.

(note: This prayer was heavily impacted by my time in God’s creation and finalized after listening to Bernie Krause’s TED Talk. It absolutely wrecked me, I hope you get a chance to hear it as well and contemplate what our restless lives are doing to God’s creation. Is it possible that God wants to restore more than just us? “Bernie Krause is a bioacoustician whose recordings have uncovered nature's rich sonic tapestry — along with some unexpected results. Krause captures the fading voices of nature, studying sonic interplay between species as they attract mates, hunt prey and sound out their roles in the ecosystem. His documentation of vanishing aural habitats is a chilling reminder of shrinking biodiversity.”)
